2012 NFL Draft: Brock Osweiler Will Hold Press Conference Tomorrow

Arizona State Sun Devils junior quarterback Brock Osweiler made a surprising decision to declare for the 2012 NFL Draft and bypass his senior season under new head coach Todd Graham. Osweiler will hold a press conference on Friday to officially announce his decision.

Brad Denny over at SB Nation's Arizona State blog House of Sparky notes that the surprise decision by Osweiler is just one surprise of many in what's being labeled a "tumultuous time in Sun Devil football history."

Osweiler's decision is the latest occurrence in perhaps the most tumultuous time in Sun Devil football history. A season ending four-game losing streak necessitated the firing of head coach Dennis Erickson, and the resulting search was a disaster that ended with key assistants lost and the surprising hiring of Graham. A blowout loss in the Maaco bowl to Boise State was preceded by suspensions to Jamal Miles and Junior Onyeali, and most recently, Onyeali was suspended indefinitely by Todd Graham.
