Super Bowl commercials can succeed in many ways. One is to appeal to our nostalgic hearts. The NFL decided to run a commercial advertising the NFL during the NFL game, reaching the coveted demographic of people who are already watching the NFL, in order to CGI team paraphernalia to characters from Happy Days, Seinfeld, The Office, and others.
