Chrysler's "Imported From Detroit" Super Bowl Ad stole the show Sunday night, but more importantly it told the rest of America that Detroit was a city on the mend. Even better, Detroit is a city with an eye on tomorrow.
As such, the time is right for the city of Detroit to erect a beacon of hope for the all of its citizens to look up to. A state of the city's finest public servant that would instill a sense of pride, hope and a future with full of cyborgs.
The time is right for Detroit to erect a statue of RoboCop.
I mean, really, is it any crazier that Philadelphia actually building a statue of Rocky?
Former Syracuse & Piston star and current Detroit Mayor, Dave Bing, has heard your requests for a RoboCop statue. And he is...not interested.
Harrumph. No truth to the rumor that Chrysler is using the goodwill it garnered from its Super Bowl ad to begin production of the ED-209 series.
