Running back Stevan Ridley is cashing in one good season at LSU for a chance at the NFL.

The junior running back has declared for the NFL Draft after rushing for 1,147 yards and 15 touchdowns this season.

Ridley capped his junior year with 105 yards in the Cotton Bowl. There was speculation he would miss that game due to a suspension for a one-time academic violation.

Ridley is a strong runner who should be a good short-yardage back. His speed isn't that great, but he has nimble footwork.

You can get more on Ridley on his Facebook page.
