GoDaddy.com Bowl, Miami (Ohio) Vs. Middle Tennessee: MAC Masters Minus Mike Haywood

The distressingly named GoDaddy.com Bowl pairs the MAC champion Miami (Ohio) RedHawks, a team in the middle of a coaching change, with the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders, whose quarterback empowers all 22 players on the field to potentially score a touchdown.

New Miami coach Don Treadwell was the offensive coordinator at Michigan State before Mike Haywood's brief stint as Pitt coach opened up the RedHawks job. He'll attend the game, taking over the program shortly after.

MTSU QB Dwight Dasher has thrown 14 interceptions in only eight games, with two four-pick beauties to his name. It's just the way the Blue Raiders roll, as his backups have six interceptions to three touchdowns between them. Dasher does live up to his name, producing over 56 yards rushing per game, but Miami DB Dayonne Nunley and LB Evan Harris are going to have their hands up all day. The pair has put up nine picks this year.

The Miami offense has been led by QB Zac Dysert and WR Armand Robinson, No. 3 and No. 6 in the MAC in yardage at their positions. The RedHawks actually have a pretty good defense too, by MAC standards, ranking No. 28 in the nation and eighth in the country in takeaways. And with Dasher in the house, that takeaway ranking could be on its way up.
