DWB's Mock

Wow it has been a long time since I made a mock draft. I recently took a new job that sends me all over Missouri and just haven't had the time. I rarely get on SB nation and when I do I usually just check AP or TDS. However, I still take some time to check out MTD from time to time. Here is my mock. I hope you guys agree with my selections (lol)

  1. Carolina (2-14)-Andrew Luck QB- Best QB in the draft by a mile.
  2. Denver (4-12)-Patrick Peterson CB- Champ's replacement.
  3. Buffalo (4-12)-Nick Fairley DL- They have to address this mess of a DL.
  4. Cincinnati (4-12)-AJ Green WR- Those two are gone, period. Or they should be.
  5. Arizona (5-11) DaQuan Bowers DL- Bowers is a beast. i think Zona adds the best pass rusher they can and thats him.
  6. Cleveland (5-11) Marcell Dareus DL- I think the Browns need a WR, but Julio isnt worth taking here.
  7. San Francisco (6-10) Blaine Gabbert QB- San Fran needs a QB. Their QB situation may be worse than any other team.
  8. Tennessee (6-10) Robert Quinn DE- Babin played great this year, but they could add some depth to that Dl by drafting Quinn and moving everyone back.
  9. Dallas (6-10) Derek Sherrod OT- I think he moves up in the draft. The Cowboys need OL, and i think they reach a little. Really, I only see this as a -5 value, which isnt even considered a reach.
  10. Washington (6-10) Cam Newton QB- I hate putting him this high because he just isnt NFL ready. His throwing motion isn't perfect, but I think someone will be enamored by his physicality.
  11. Houston (6-10) Stephen Paea DL- Houston's run D is bad, so is their pass D.
  12. Minnesota (6-10) Julio jones WR- I know they would like a QB, but there is not one here worth taking, BPA.
  13. Detroit (6-10) Prince Amukamara CB- i think he is overrated to an extent. I dont see him on the same level as Peterson. I think 13 is perfect for him. Detroit needs to address their OL bad though. They are very good pass blocking, but struggle run blocking.
  14. St. Louis (7-9) Justin Blackmon WR- Sam Bradford deserves the ROY award. He needs WR help badly.
  15. Miami (7-9) Ryan Williams RB- He is the best unknown RB ive seen play this year. I have him above Ingram because of several reasons.
  16. Jacksonville (8-8) Janoris Jenkins CB- Not the fastest guy, but has unmatchable will and instincts.
  17. New England- from Oakland (8-8) Cameron Jordan DE- Patriots need beef on the DL.
  18. San Diego (9-7) Cameron Heyward- He play tremendous tonight. He is a perfect fit for SD. I know he had a so-so season, but I still think teams will value his talent.
  19. New York Giants (10-6) Gabe Carimi OT- I think he fits the Giants scheme great. He is the best run blocker in the draft.
  20. Tampa Bay (10-6) Johnathan Baldwin WR- They need a WR to give Freeman some weapons.
  21. Seattle* (7-9) Anthony Castonzo OT- With this pick they have yound bookends.
  22. Kansas City* (10-6) Mike Pouncey OG- All of KC's interior linemen are aging. Asamoah has played great in spirts, him and pouncey solidify KC's lne.
  23. Indianapolis* (10-6)  Allen Bailey DT- An absolute steal right here. He is just a stud and will help upgrade indy's defense. I think Indy passes on Solder for an OT later. Solder struggles in the run game. They will be locking to upgrade that department.
  24. Philadelphia* (10-6)-Travis Lewis OLB- i was not sold on him last year.He sold me this year. I watched him in person against Mizzou, it wasn't his best game, but you coultell he was the best defensive player on the field.
  25. Green Bay* (10-6) Adrian Clayborn DE- He got dominated in the Insight by Elvis Fisher. Fisher is good but is only a late round talent.
  26.  New Orleans* (11-5) Nate solder OT- Solder has the potential to be one of the best pass blocking tackles in the draft. Athletic.
  27. New York Jets* (11-5) Ryan Kerrigan DL-The Jets don't really have many needs. With no WR here, they go for Kerrigan.
  28. Baltimore* (11-5) Deunta Williams S- They are an aging secondary, with a lack of depth. Aaron Williams is possible.
  29. Chicago* (11-5) Joseph Barksdale OT- Have you watched a Bears game? Enough said to justify the reah.
  30. Pittsburgh* (12-4) Akeem Ayers OLB- BPA, no real need but with a contract down here, no big deal.
  31. Atlanta* (13-3) J.J. Watt DE- Atlanta could use a DE. Abraham isnt getting younger.
  32. New England* (14-2) Von Miller OLB- NE really lacks pass rushers like Miller and he is a great addition.

I think Mallet and Locker both fall to the 2nd round. Mallet barely completed 50% of his passes tonight and threw a horrible INt, but thats not even why. He will probably get drafted in the middle to late first round, but i dont mock trades and this is more about who I think the teams should take. I think Locker actually goes in the 2nd round. Another player I think slips is Mark Ingram. I couldnt beleieve so many people had him so high. Anyways, of course feel free to say my mock sucks and junk.
