The St. Louis Rams host the New Orleans Saints as 13 point underdogs, tied for the highest opening spread in all of the Week 8 match ups.

The New Orleans Saints are coming off a 62-7 thrashing of the Indianapolis Colts that saw the Saints doing whatever they wanted the entire game. The Saints are favored by 13 points to start, but are actually not that great at covering the number this year coming in at just 4-3 against the spread. They're facing a St. Louis Rams team however, that is not only winless but 0-6 so far covering the spread.

The Saints are 5-1 the last six weeks hitting the over, which is set at 47.5 this week. The Rams sport one of the NFL's worst scoring offenses and will be facing a Saints team that averages giving up only 22.6 points per game, which is right around the league average. The Saints however lead the NFL with 34 points per game and will be facing the 31st ranked scoring defense. Last week, the Saints faced the 32nd scoring defense and put up 62 points.
