Glaring NFL Team Needs

Welcome back to our Glaring Team Needs series! As we reach the quarter mark of the NFL season, we reach the of our first cycle. Many team needs have changed, but fewer teams are on the list for "Suck4Luck" list. I can't imagine how mad that must make the players in the locker room to hear about that. I'd imagine that most fans of the game have played at some level or at least played something that involved winning and losing. No one likes to lose for any reason and when your professional pride as well as your personal pride are on display for the world to see and talk about can only amplify that pain from losing.

If that doesn't keep teams from purposely tanking the season, the margin for error between "earning" the 1st pick and the 2nd pick can come down to not only how many games who win, but who that one or two wins was against. Besides all that, its is way to early in the season to know where each team will fall in the draft order. Its a fun topic for fans and media, but I hope no one asks how what the players. They'll be "Luck"y if they don't get "Suck"er punched. See what I di-No? Moving on then: The Titans and the Redskins.

1. Washington Redskins - Biggest Need: CB The Redskins have a surprisingly good defense, but they could use, like most teams, more talent in the secondary. DeAngelo Hall can be more trouble than he's worth, Josh Wilson is on his third team in as many years, and the rest of the depth isn't much to fear.  2012 Draft Pick: Morris Claiborne, CB LSU Claiborne has great ball skills and would help lead the future of the Redskin secondary.

2. Tennessee Titans - Biggest Need: WR This could just as easily be an offensive lineman, but with two HOF offensive linemen on the coaching staff, they may identify players they like to develop later. Kenny Britt hasn't played a full season yet and the talent behind him isn't much of a threat. With a top ten draft pick in Locker coming into the lineup sooner or later, it would be a good idea to add as many weapons around him as possible. 2012 Draft Pick: Dwight Jones, WR UNC A fast riser as a height/weight/speed combo wide receiver. Teaming him with Britt, Johnson, and Cook would be a lot of offense to build with.
