The Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to avoid going oh-for-November against the Tennessee Titans.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to end a four game skid as they head to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans. After starting the season 4-2 and in the thick of the NFC South race, the Bucs are now trying to fight to fall further under .500 after falling to 4-6. "There's still time to get hot. We can still finish with the same record we had last year (10-6) if we get our minds right, go out and play hard, fast, physical and smart," Bucs head coach Rahim Morris said after their loss to the Green Bay Packers. While quarterback Josh Freeman has had a disappointing season, he was able to throw for over 340 yards and two fourth quarter touchdowns in the loss.
The Titans on the other hand might have an issue at quarterback, with starter Matt Hasselbeck recovering from an injury he suffered in last weeks loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Rookie quarterback Jake Locker stepped in and did a decent job, but Hasselbeck is still expected to get the start. "I think he feels good. It's all about confidence. I don't think he has an awful lot of soreness," Titans head coach Mike Munchak said of the injury. The Titans are still alive in the AFC South race, especially with the injury to Texans quarterback Matt Schaub. A win on Sunday against the Bucs can push them in that direction.
