NFL Picks And Predictions Week 13: Bengals Vs. Steelers

Who do the experts think will win in the second match up between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals?

The Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers meet up for the second time this season in a game that will have playoff implications.

Peter King of Sports Illustrated thinks this one will be a close one, with the Steelers pulling it out:

Cincinnati Bengals (7-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3)
Seminal game for the Bengals. (That means "strongly influencing later developments," for you non-Merriam-Webster fans.) Win here and they'd likely be in the playoff race in Week 17, when they host Baltimore. Lose here, and a fifth loss puts them behind the eight-ball in playoff contention. I've gone back and forth all week on this game, my faith in Andy Dalton outweighing what reality tells me most of the week -- until now. I think Dalton plays his typical valiant game, but Ben Roethlisberger to Antonio Brown or Mike Wallace wins this game late.

Only Marcus Allen and Chris Mortenson at ESPN give the Bengals a chance.

Peter Schrager of Fox Sports likes the Bengals to pull one out in overtime:

Cincinnati at Pittsburgh: The Steelers have two battles with division rivals in a five-day span up ahead, facing the Bengals on Sunday, then traveling to Cleveland for a slugfest on Thursday. With Pittsburgh banged up on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball, I can see the young Bengals pulling off the upset in this one. Andy Dalton and A.J. Green came up huge in the clutch yet again last week vs. the Browns. Look for something special and a last-second Cincy win in Pittsburgh, here. Troy Polamalu has "concussion-like symptoms," which, I'm told by a doctor friend is something very similar to "having a concussion." Dalton will take advantage.
The Pick: Bengals 20, Steelers 17 (OT)
