Who do the experts think will win between the Washington Redskins and the New York Jets?
The New York Jets are looking to get off their little slide against the Washington Redskins. Here's what the experts think about the game.
Peter King of Sports Illustrated likes the Jets to win:
New York Jets (6-5) at Washington Redskins (4-7)
This has the feel of an unwatchable game, unless you like watching incompletions. I'll say this again: I think Mark Sanchez is so focused on getting the ball to Santonio Holmes and Plaxico Burress, because he knows how much they want it (Holmes particularly) that I don't think he's focused on making the best play for what's called by offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer. Just hit the open guy, Mark. And check down when they're not.
The folks over at ESPN seem to like the Jets to get the win.
Peter Schrager of Fox Sports likes the Redskins to win:
New York Jets at Washington: The Redskins may be headed for a top-10 pick in April, but they're still playing hard, sound football. Washington should have beaten the Cowboys at home two weeks ago and they went up to Seattle and came back from a late deficit to win a tough one vs. the Seahawks on Sunday. This is the exact kind of team that tends to give the Jets trouble. New York managed zero takeaways against Buffalo on Sunday, Rex Grossman's coming off a career day, and even the cynical New York media is taking this one for granted, unanimously picking the Jets. In other words, take the ‘Skins.
The Pick: Redskins 24, Jets 20
