Oklahoma Vs. Oklahoma State Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More

The Oklahoma State Cowboys have a chance to work their way back into the BCS National Title game, but it will take an impressive victory over their rival, the Oklahoma Sooners.

When Oklahoma State lost to Iowa State on the road, it was thought that the chance at a national title was lost. Things fell into play in the BCS however, and the Oklahoma State Cowboys still have a chance to make it into the National Title game. In order to do so however, quarterback Brandon Weeden and wide receiver Justin Blackmon are going to have to make sure they're in the groove against the Oklahoma Sooners.

Cowboys Ride For Free thinks the Cowboys need to put the pressure on Landry Jones:

Landry Jones is a great QB, but he makes really bad decisions when he's under pressure. The Oklahoma State pass rush, with Richetti Jones and Jamie Blatnick has been excellent at times this season. If the Cowboys can pressure Landry, and force him in to making some bad decisions, it will slow the Sooner offense down. Give Landry time and he will pick you apart. See Bedlam 2010. The defense as a whole is going to have to play well, but it all starts with the pass rush.

The Sooners on the other hand are looking to save face on the season after dropping games to Baylor and Texas Tech by winning the Big 12 Championship. The Sooners haven't lost to the Cowboys in the last eight meetings, their last loss coming in 2002. Oklahoma was knocked out of the title hunt with their loss to Baylor, but they can play spoilers to their in-state rival and insure they will not get in the game.

Crimson Dream Machine thinks that Brandon Williams needs to get the football:

Brandon Williams needs more than 11 touches- Obviously playing off the last point, this kid could be the difference maker in this game if the coaches allow him to be. He is a 75 yard TD run waiting to happen IMO. He has a burst, when he gets the ball, that we haven't seen since a guy named Adrian was patrolling the OU backfield. Not promising that reports are this week he suffered a sprained or twisted ankle late in practice Tuesday, but is still expected to play and I'd imagine, in his first Bedlam game, will be more than ready to go. If and when he does get carries, I'm sure OSU will be ripping for the ball so to point #2 up above it will obviously be key that he holds on to the rock.
