FA Cup Quarter Final Draw Announced: Manchester United On Collision Course With Arsenal

It's been an interesting weekend so far in the FA Cup, with holders Chelsea eliminated by Everton on penalty kicks and several 5th round games still to play. Manchesters United and City are still through, and Arsenal should presumably manage a win over neighbours Leyton Orient later today, so most of the biggest teams are still in it. Let's see what the FA has cooked up for us in the last eight...

FA Cup Quarter Final Draw

Stoke City vs. West Ham United or Burnley
Manchester City or Aston Villa vs. Everton or Reading
Birmingham City vs. Fulham or Bolton Wanderers
Manchester United vs. Leyton Orient or Arsenal

Assuming Arsenal do indeed manage to progress to the quarters, we have a mouth-watering tie waiting for us as the Gunners travel to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United in a battle between the two current best teams in the country in the clear pick of the fixtures in the quarters. With several Premier League clubs vying for the four semifinal spots at Wembley, we should see some other interesting matches in the upcoming round, with teams starting to take the competition far more seriously as the Cup looms on the horizon.
