Great American Party Brings Daytona 500 Relevance to Boston

Read and watch as NESN's Paul Paquette steers you through the craziness of a Boston NASCAR Daytona 500 charity party. The event was a blast and featured a mustache contest and the crowning of a Miss NASCAR.

Creators Mike Haavisto, Brian Malone and Mike Morris started the party nine years ago in their South Boston apartment -- but this party isn’t just an excuse to go drinking with your buddies. The event has raised over $50,000 for various charities, with proceeds this year going to the Greg Hill Foundation, which helps improve the lives of local families touched by tragedy.
