Okay, this will be my first year to follow MLS! (I promise)

Okay, so I am still watching Premiere League as much as I can; I'm also watching UEFA league and FA Cup action as well. I like the matches, enjoy the Derby (had to look that one up), knowing the players a little better, and enjoying the play from the each of the top flight team. So if a Yank like me can follow English football I think I can get closer to home and keep up with a season of MLS soccer this year. The hard part is getting to know the teams, the players, and the play.

Many of you on this board have been watching MLS longer than I have; I've only started to watch full 90 minutes or more of soccer in the past two years. But my country's own offering of soccer matches is something I haven't really tuned into this moment. So I need help!! I want to be a fan...I need to be a fan...heck, even as I'm writing this I'm DVR the Sounder/Galaxy match. See, that makes me a fan, eh?

My question is what is the best way to watch MLS and get into the whole community of MLS fans throughout the nation. Heck, if my fellow hometown great Drew Carry can get into soccer I think anyone can.
