In the never-ending Mayo vs. Mustard condiment debate, I’m on Team Mayo now and forever, but this doesn’t even sound particularly appealing to me:
The Red, White & Blue steak sandwich, created in the Food Network kitchen in New York, features Maytag blue cheese and sweet and spicy Peppadew-pepper mayonnaise on a French demi baguette. The item will be sold in Food Network branded concession areas at the Great American Ballpark (Cincinnati), Progressive Field (Cleveland), Comerica Park (Detroit), Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Busch Stadium (St. Louis), Miller Park (Milwaukee), Petco Park (San Diego) and Oriole Park at Camden Yards (Baltimore).
The fact that they don’t specify the type of steak does not bode well. But hey, you know who probably thinks this sandwich is a one-way ticket to Flavortown? THIS GUY.
