Jalen Rose Arrested For DUI Two Days Before Fab Five Documentary Aired

Jalen Rose was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving on March 11 in Michigan's West Bloomfield township. Police said the former Michigan Wolverines star refused to take a breathalyzer test and was taken to a nearby hospital for blood testing after being seen swerving off the side of the road.

It's certainly interesting timing, considering ESPN's 30 for 30 documentary on Rose and his college teammates premiered only two nights after the arrest. Hard to believe this story remained under the radar as Rose's reflection on thinking of black Duke basketball players as a bunch of "Uncle Toms" generated an ongoing in-house ESPN controversy.

Rose's court date is set for April 20, the same as Harvey Updyke, that guy who poisoned those trees in Auburn. How will a nation torn between Rose and Updyke handle the non-stop legal coverage?
