Nebraska's last college basketball tournament as a member of the Big 12 ended with a 53-52 Oklahoma State victory. The Cowboys led by as many as 14 in the first half, but the entire second half was a neck-and-neck slugout (gruesome!) that ended when Nick Sidorakis came up with a steal in the closing seconds.
For their efforts, the Cowboys get the home-state Kansas Jayhawks, the No. 2 team in the country. In their one meeting this season, Kansas plasted Okie State, 92-65, at home, part of that late-season rampage after their loss to Kansas State.
Keiton Page led Oklahoma State with 16 points, Marshall Moses chipped in 10 points and five rebounds, and Matt Pilgrim turned in 12 boards. Lance Jeter scored 17 for Nebraska, but also had a pair of critical turnovers within the final two minutes.
