Formula 1 Malaysian Grand Prix Open Thread

The Race Day Open Threads have always been a huge hit here at NASCAR Ranting and Raving.

And through them, I've discovered that many of you also enjoy other disciplines, including Formula One. SB Nation hasn't tapped that market yet and I like chatting motorsports. So let's discuss Round Two of the Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix.

Sebastian Vettel is again on pole extending Red Bull Racing's qualifying dominance over the past two seasons.

Looking for a victory, Vettel will have captured the first two races of the season and could claim an early stake in repeating as World Driver's Championship.

Hopefully the Formula One race will have a little more bite than tonight's NASCAR Cup Series Race.

Mclaren's Lewis Hamilton just missed the pole by just 0.10 seconds. Red Bull's Mark Webber was third and McLaren's Jenson Button fourth.

For the second straight race, the legendary Michael Schumacher did not make it into the final session of qualifying — running more than 0.60 seconds behind teammate Nico Rosberg and qualified 11th.
