NFL Preseason Schedule To Be Released

The 2011-12 NFL preseason schedule is expected to be released at some point on Tuesday according to various reports.

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted that the preseason schedule is coming and Pro Football Talk's Gregg Rosenthal has since confirmed that the preseason schedule, along with the national TV preseason games, will be announced on Tuesday.

This is good news and bad news for football fans.

It's good news because we finally have some actual football-related content to talk about. We've been so wrapped up in the NFL lockout that we forget that talking about the game of football isn't all about the court room.

It's bad news because, well, it reminds us that the game of football is being played in a court room right now. Until the lockout is resolved, there will not be any preseason games, so this is a reminder that football is still on hold.

So it's sort of bittersweet but we'll take it. Check back for the NFL preseason schedule sometime later on Tuesday.
