First Mock with Trades

The following mock involves trades, but in no way do I think these trades will go down. I did them more for fun and saw how the round played out with the trades included. All I got is explanations for the trades. The picks themselves are probably obvious enough.

1. Carolina: Cam Newton QB

2. Denver: Marcel Dareus DT

3. Buffalo: Von Miller OLB

4. Cincinnati: AJ Green WR

5. Arizona:  Blaine Gabbert QB

Detroit trades up 7 spots for the best CB in the draft(6 for 13 and 44: 1600 for 1610 on the trade chart)

****6. Detroit (via Cleveland): Patrick Peterson CB

7. San Francisco: Robert Quinn OLB

8. Tennessee: Nick Fairley DT

St. Louis jumps in front of Washington to get Julio Jones (14,44,142 for 9 and 71: 1595 for 1585 on the trade chart)

****9. St. Louis (via Dallas): Julio Jones WR

10. Washington: Jake Locker QB

11. Houston:  Prince Amukamara CB

12. Minnesota: Da’Quan Bowers DE

****13. Cleveland (via Detroit): Aldon Smith DE

****14. Dallas (via St. Louis): Tyron Smith OT

15. Miami:  Mark Ingram RB

Looking to secure a top notch D-lineman and with NE and SD just below, Tampa Bay trades up (20 and 51 for 16,80: 1240 for 1190 on the trade chart)

****16. Tampa Bay (via Jacksonville): Cameron Jordan DT/DE

17. New England: J.J. Watt DE

18. San Diego: Cameron Heyward DE

19. New York Giants:  Mike Pouncey OG(/C if you go by Rorschach)

****20. Jacksonville (via Tampa Bay): Christian Ponder QB

21. Kansas City:  Phil Taylor NT

22. Indianapolis: Anthony Castonzo OT

23. Philadelphia: Gabe Carimi OT

24. New Orleans: Ryan Kerrigan DE

25. Seattle: Cory Liuget DT

26. Baltimore: Justin Houston DE

27. Atlanta: Derek Sherrod OT

Oakland wants in on the first round so they trade with a team more than willing to get stash picks, especially given they had a pick already (48,81,112 and for 28: 675 for 660 on the trade chart)

****28. Oakland (via New England): Jimmy Smith CB

29. Chicago: Nate Solder OT

30. New York Jets: Muhammad Wilkerson DE

31. Pittsburgh: Aaron Williams CB/FS

32. Green Bay: Akeem Ayers OLB
