Jeff Burton became the lastest driver to remove his name from the market on Tuesday, as he re-signed a multi-year deal with Richard Childress Racing.
Burton’s deal with RCR was in conjunction with a multi-year extension signed by sponsor Caterpillar.
That’s similar to the deal announced by Roush Fenway Racing and Greg Biffle on Sunday. That extension, for at least three more years, runs with a longer agreement for sponsor 3M.
Other big-name drivers are still out there: Carl Edwards and Clint Bowyer are among those who have yet to decide on their futures.
