It's been an up-and-down series between the Anaheim Ducks and the Nashville Predators, but as we head into Game 6 at Bridgestone Arena on Easter Sunday, the Preds are the ones on the high. They hold the ability to eliminate the high-flying Ducks with a victory, and it'd be the first time in franchise history they've advanced beyond the first round.
Of course, they need to get by the Ducks one more time in able to get that feat accomplished. Anaheim blew a late lead in Game 5 before losing in overtime on a goal from Jerred Smithson.
It's all about regrouping for the Ducks. It was the kind of late-game shift in momentum and control that can dictate a game and, given the importance of that game, can dictate a season. Anaheim needs to make sure it doesn't. If you're the Preds, you need to continue to do what you've done all year. Shut down the Ducks potent offense and control the style of the game.
