Pseudonym Warning

Just wanted to let everyone know that no matter how unique your username is there is the possibility that someone else out there may have the same on-line handle as you.

There may also be the possibility that they may know that they have the same handle as you and still post at other NASCAR blogs anyway.  Certainly this can cause confusion or worse yet, create conflict for you by making inflammatory comments at other sites and leave you to deal with the wreckage.

Over the past  seven years I've run into a handful of people posting comments as 4ever3 (or variations thereof) and have had to deal with the fall-out as a result.  Fortunately, I've been doing this for a while so I've established some credibility out there with other NASCAR bloggers and they are quick to realize most poser 4ever3's are not me. However, that is not always the case -  especially at sites that I don't visit much and I have to work with them to convince them that it was not me that posted that idiotic comment at their site.

There currently is a poser 4ever3 out there right now.  And although they have not been trolling under the 4ever3 pseudonym (they may even think they are original in the 4ever3 pseudonym for all I know) I just want you to be careful when engaging any 4ever3 at all NASCAR sites/blogs other than NASCAR RnR as it might not be me.  In other words, exercise caution when responding to comments left by me at other sites as it may not be me in actuality.

Thanks.

Bob (aka 4ever3)
