The trade rumors are aplenty right now as we countdown the hours until the start of the draft. Many teams appear to feel that this draft offers a lot of depth and may not feel comfortable with the prospects at the top of the board. The NFL Draft is always full of trades and this year will not be any different.
The 2011 Draft many see more trades than usually due to the presence of several intriguing quarterback prospects. Players like Blaine Gabbert, Jake Locker, Andy Dalton, and Christian Ponder figure to be hot commodities and are unlikely to last until the mid-second round.
When we talk about draft day trades you immediately want to reference the draft pick trade value chart. This chart gives each pick a corresponding number which helps determine the value. However, I feel that this draft will feature some lopsided trades as the supply might be higher than the demand. If I am a team looking to move up I would reference the fact so many teams want to move down.
