The Ohio State student paper decries him as "unworthy to don scarlet and gray," but ex-Buckeye wide receiver Duron Carter seems content enough to go with crimson and white. The son of Cris Carter, who's been in academic hot water since being ruled ineligible for the 2009 Rose Bowl and cooled his heels last season at Coffeyville Community College, has announced his intentions to transfer to Alabama. Carter caught 13 passes for 176 yards in a Buckeyes uniform before his grades fell untenably far behind.

Obviously he needs to stay healthy and pick up the scheme quickly, but I think you can safely assume that Carter will be a major contributor come September.
