With the 2010-2011 season done and dusted, it's time for the Calcio Mercato to shine. Which players will stay? Which players are off for a ridiculous price to have a ridiculous season (or, quite frankly, to sit on the bench and wither)?
Scudetto holders AC Milan will clearly look to maintain their squad, although they'll only offer one-year contract extensions to those over 30 years old. Napoli will want to add some depth to enable them to compete in both Serie A and the Champions League, although Walter Mazzarri's sacking could lead to a couple of the mister's favorite players leaving the club. Juventus and Roma desperately want to be able to compete for Champions League positions next season. Udinese have to take care not to sell every player that helped them reach the coveted fourth position. And Atalanta, Siena, and whichever Serie B club wins the third position will, of course, need to find players to help them stay up.
