But that's only the culmination of an entire weekend's worth of events at baseball's shrine.

Tomorrow, Saturday, July 23, the Hall of Fame's Spotlight Series will bring several Hall of Famers to Doubleday Field to participate in interactive discussions on a variety of topics. Later on Saturday, at 4:30 p.m and also at Doubleday Field, the Hall of Fame's Awards Presentation will give the Ford C. Frick Award for broadcasters to Dave Van Horne, the J.G. Taylor Spink Award for writers to Bill Conlin and the Buck O'Neil Lifetime Achievement Award to former major league executive Roland Hemond, There will also be a performance by singer/songwriter Terry Cashman on the 30th anniversary of his baseball classic, "Talkin' Baseball".

At 6 p.m. on Saturday, Hall of Famers will ride down Main Street in Cooperstown in the second annual Hall of Fame Parade of Legends.

It may be too late for you to travel to the Hall this weekend, but you can follow the action on MLB Network, and every baseball fan should make a pilgrimage to Cooperstown sometime in his or her life.
