Marshal Yanda, Baltimore Ravens Reportedly Agree To Five-Year Deal

According to Aaron Wilson, the Baltimore Ravens and guard Marshall Yanda have reached an agreement on a five-year deal in the $32 million range.

Yanda is entering his fifth season in the NFL after being drafted by the Ravens in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Last season he started all 16 regular season games for the first time in his career and has 42 career starts.

Yanda didn't receive the attention that his free agent Raven teammates have, but he has been a vital part of the team for years.

His ability to create a push along the line has been critical to the offense moving the ball on the ground. Although he shines as a road grader, he's also a polished technician with the feet and hands to pass protect.

With several teams in desperate need of a starting offensive lineman, it was assumed that he would be in high demand if Baltimore couldn't wrap him up quickly.
