NFL Free Agency 2011: Jets Re-Sign OL Wayne Hunter, According To Report

BREAKING: Jets have agreed to terms with OL Wayne Hunter. per source. #nyjless than a minute ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply

Mehta, who's as good as they come for breaking Jets news, reported the deal is for four years, and the amount is not yet disclosed.

Hunter filled in admirably last year when Woody missed three games with an injury, which made Jets management more comfortable with cutting Woody this offseason before the lockout hit. Reports had swirled that the Jets might look to sign Woody at a discount, but it's now clear that the Jets feel comfortable rolling with Hunter full time to protect the strong side.
