The New York Jets are shoring up their right tackle slot after Damien Woody's retirement, reportedly signing his backup last year, Wayne Hunter:

Mehta, who's as good as they come for breaking Jets news, reported the deal is for four years, and the amount is not yet disclosed.
Hunter filled in admirably last year when Woody missed three games with an injury, which made Jets management more comfortable with cutting Woody this offseason before the lockout hit. Reports had swirled that the Jets might look to sign Woody at a discount, but it's now clear that the Jets feel comfortable rolling with Hunter full time to protect the strong side.
