Paris Saint-Germain may or may not be done raiding Italy for players, but it's almost certain they've landed the biggest (available) fish in Serie A waters. Javier Pastore, who had previously been linked to both Chelsea and Manchester City, has joined the Ligue 1 side today. Many may have laughed when Maurizio Zamparini put a €50m price tag on the Argentine's head, but it seems the deal was done for €45m, so it pays to negotiate with the big boys.
Since moving from Inter Milan, Leonardo has really gone out and got his men: PSG have also announced the signing of goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu from Palermo and defensive midfielder Mohamed Sissoko from Juventus. They join fellow Serie A refugee Jeremy Menez, who was signed from AS Roma last week. With Pastore, Menez, Nene, and Guillaume Hoarau, it appears that Leonardo has no plans to deviate from his previous attack-minded strategies. No matter what, PSG should be fun to watch this season.
