Nebraska backup quarterback Cody Green decided to transfer in May after getting beaten out by Taylor Martinez for the starter's job last fall and not making a strong case for himself in 2011.
Green has finally made his decision on where to go and that school is Tulsa.
"I will be at the University of Tulsa starting next week," Green said. "I made it based on opportunity.
"That was the best opportunity that I had to fulfill the dreams that I have of wanting to make to the NFL, getting on the field period."
Green was rated as one of the top 10 quarterback prospects in the nation when he signed with the Huskers. Destined to be the next in a long line of great Nebraska quarterbacks, it just never came together for him.
Nebraska coach Bo Pelini backed Green and his wishes to transfer.
Green was considering between Tulsa and Baylor as his final choice.
