Chris Carr emerged as one of the better cornerbacks in the NFL this past season with the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens front office apparently noticed that, too, as the team has re-signed him after a short flirtation with free agency.
Carr updated his contract status on his personal Twitter account, noting that he was "very excited to finish my career" to finish his career with the Ravens. While terms of the deal have yet to be released, Carr's new contract is apparently long-term if Carr plans on finishing his career in Baltimore despite being in the league six seasons so far.
"I will work as hard as possible to make myself and my teammates better," Carr continued to say on Twitter. "That includes mental, spiritual, physical, and nutritional."
Carr was the team's most consistent cornerback last season, according to The Baltimore Sun, and was apparently became the focus of the Ravens' front office after Josh Wilson decided to sign with the Washington Redskins.
