Brandon Marshall Talks To Police About April Stabbing Incident

Over two months later, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall has finally talked with police about an alleged stabbing incident by his wife. According to Marshall's lawyer:

"He indeed appeared at the Broward state attorney's office and gave a statement to investigators," Ishoy wrote. "The investigation continues."

Marshall talked with police after a subpoena had been issued in his name. What had held up Marshall's statement was a no-contact order placed on his wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall. It had been put in place after the alleged April 22 incident in which she stabbed him in the stomach with a kitchen knife.

As has been noted previously, Marshall originally lied about how he suffered the wound, claiming he fell on a vase. When he was with the Denver Broncos, Marshall had claimed an arm injury occurred after he slipped on a McDonald's wrapper and went into a TV. He later changed his story to having wrestled with his brother at the time of the incident.
