Germany Vs. Brazil, 2011 Friendly: Halftime, Germans Dominant But Score Tied 0-0

Germany have absolutely taken Brazil to the cleaners in the first half of their international friendly match, but to this point, they have nothing to show for it. The score is tied up at 0-0 after 45 minutes, but it's not for a lack German chances. They've been absolutely brilliant with their high pressure and short passes, controlling the possession easily. It took until the 10th minute for Brazil to get out of their own half for the first time, but somehow Germany do not have a goal to show for it.

Toni Kroos and Mario Götze are in the starting lineup in the absences of Real Madrid pair Sami Khedira and Mesut Özil, but Germany hasn't skipped a beat. Both Kroos and Götze have been absolutely fantastic, while Christian Träsch has been fantastic at right back as well. Mats Hummels has been completely dominant in the center of defense, and he looks like he has that spot on lockdown for when competitive fixtures start up again.

New introductions Fernandinho and Ralf don't look like they're going to be staying in the Brazil lineup for the foreseeable future. Additionally, Robinho has been dreadful. That was 45 minutes of football that will leave fans of Brazil longing for the return of Paulo Henrique Ganso and Lucas Leiva to their team.
