Mark Ingram carried the ball just six times, but it was an impressive 14-yard touchdown run that turned heads. Ingram's run was one of two rushing touchdowns on the night as the New Orleans Saints rolled over the San Francisco 49ers, 24-3. With Drew Brees seeing limited action, it's no wonder the rushing game took center-stage at times.
Chase Daniels saw the bulk of the snaps at quarterback, completing 13-21 passes for 129 yards. On the ground, Joique Bell led the way with nine carries for 52 yards, followed closely by Chris Taylor's 39 yards and a touchdown.
On the other side of the field, Colin Kaepernick and Alex Smith spent their time running for their lives as the Niners offensive line struggled in pass protection. Kaepernick, with the bulk of the reps, completed 9-19 passes for 117 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. Smith was 2-7 for 10 yards. Kaepernick led the Niners on the ground, as well, carrying the ball six times for 47 yards.
