Stoke Vs. Chelsea - Etherington taken off injured

Bad news for Stoke as Matthew Etherington has been forced off with what looks like a dislocated shoulder – could be out for some time with that one, a huge loss to Stoke. Dean Whitehead replaces him.

Chelsea have also made a change, with Florent Malouda coming off for Nicolas Anelka. Chelsea have improved in this half, and had a number of penalty shouts – none of them have been clear-cut, but it’s a surprise to see them all waved away.

Stoke have had a few opportunities, though – as expected, making headway down the wings, though overall Chelsea appear to be coping with their attacks. Ramires and Torres, on the other hand, are causing Stoke more and more problems. Chelsea still have Drogba and Benayoun on the bench, who could provide the spark needed to win this game. 30 minutes still to play, and very much an open game which could go either way.
