Plaxico Burress' Interview With HBO's Real Sports Offers More Details Of Prison, Return To NFL

New York Jets WR Plaxico Burress did an interview, which will air on Tuesday night, with HBO's Real Sports. I haven't yet seen it but several early accounts of the interview includes quite a bit of detail discussing the gun incident in a New York nightclub, and his eventual prison sentence.

Burress says he was walking up the stairs when the gun in his pants started to fall. He reached to grab it and -- "Pow".

"I took a couple more steps and my jeans were like - my jeans are wet. And I looked down. I had some Chuck Taylors on and they were - the white was all red. I'm in trouble," he says.

Burress discussed how he initially reacted to Mayor Bloomberg suggesting he be punished and the process of being a free, rich man to be "putting you in a cage, putting you in a box."

Real Sports usually does a great job with these sorts of interviews, getting details we haven't seen before. It airs at 10:00 (ET) Tuesday night.

Burress and the Jets play the Texans in Houston on Monday Night Football but the Jets WR won't play.
