Winning the game shouldn't be a major priority for either side since it's just the preseason. They'll both work on different aspects of their game they need to work on but both sides will have a priority on one thing -- no injuries.
As SB Nation's Battle Red Blog points out, the Texans starters will be in for 10-12 plays and they're hoping on injuries come out.
Everyone is going to be holding their breath while starters and expected key contributors are on the field. We're going to be hoping that everyone bounces back up and no one hobbles off to the sidelines. As we saw last year, an injury doesn't mean the end of the world (right, Ben Tate and Arian Foster?), but we don't need to test that again. According to head coach Gary Kubiak, starters are expected to be on the field for 10-12 plays, so hopefully it will be a healthy 10-12.
Battle Red Blog has a list of keys for the Texans but this one is at the top for a reason. There's nothing more frustrating than losing a key contributor for an extended period of time because of a meaningless preseason game.
Check out Battle Red Blog for the Texans keys to the game for Monday night.
