There might not be a MLS player who made a better impression on more people than Jimmy Conrad. It seems just about everyone who came into contact with him felt like they had a personal relationship with him. On Friday, @MLSInsider asked the Twitter-verse (that's a word now, right?) to hold an impromptu "Jimmy Conrad Roast."
What followed was nothing short of awesome. Former teammates, media personalities and lots and lots of fans got in on the fun. Many of the jokes focused on Conrad's age. There were quite a few that addressed his looks. There were a ton of version of "Jimmy Conrad? Oh, I thought you meant Jimmy Connors." I'm hardly a Jimmy Conrad expert, but I thought it would be fun to compile some of my favorite Tweets, as well as some of his responses.
