Cleveland Browns Colt McCoy took control of his team's offense on Friday night and didn't disappoint. He took the Browns into the end zone for three touchdown passes for a 21-13 halftime lead over the Detroit Lions. He played until the two-minute warning, finishing the day with 10 completions on 18 pass attempts for 95 yards. He found Evan Moore twice in the end zone, two yards out and 21 yards out. Greg Little caught a 13-yard touchdown pass.
Former No. 1 draft pick and Lions starting quarterback Matthew Stafford attempted to keep pace with McCoy, but he wound up completing 6-of-10 passes for 85 yards a touchdown. He found Nate Burleson in the end zone for a four-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter.
Lions running back Jahvid Best fumbled the ball on the team's opening drive, which led to McCoy leading the Browns to a six-play drive for the first score of the game. Jason Hanson added two field goals for the Lions' other scores.
