The Arizona Cardinals and Kevin Kolb are still working toward a cohesive offense, but this time Kolb did lead the team to two scoring drives. However, both drives resulted in just field goals by Jay Feely. Kolb went 6-of-11 for 80 yards before John Skelton took over.
Feely kicked field goals of 39 and 53 yards to put the Cardinals up, 6-0, by the middle of the second quarter. Running back Beanie Wells also helped on these drives, rushing the ball 11 times for 44 yards in the first half.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers led his team to two scoring drives as well. He connected with Greg Jennings for a 20-yard touchdown pass with five minutes left in the second quarter. It capped a seven-play, 78-yard drive. He finished the first half 9-of-12 for 97 yards. Alex Green came up with the second score on a two-yard rush with 40 seconds left before halftime.
