The Major League Lacrosse Playoffs are here. After a 12-week season, the top four teams are ready to battle it out for the Steinfeld Cup.
Saturday afternoon, the top-seeded Boston Cannons look to avenge their loss to the Chesapeake Bayhawks last season, while the Denver Outlaws try to put their sketchy past behind them against the young and energetic Hamilton Nationals.
After a season mostly relegated to online streaming broadcasts of the games were online, the championships will broadcast on national television. The Cannons (9-3) will take on the Bayhawks (6-6) on ESPN2 at 12 p.m. Eastern in Annapolis, Maryland on Saturday. Then the Outlaws (7-5) challenge the Nationals on ESPN2 at 2:40 p.m. Eastern time.
The winners of the games tomorrow will play for the MLL Championship at 2 p.m. Eastern time on ESPN2 on Sunday. All the games can also be seen on ESPN3.com and be heard on radio broadcasts via In Lax We Trust's Lacrosse Radio Network.
