Just days after Eagles DT Mike Patterson collapsed on the field during Philadelphia Eagles training camp due to what may or may not be brain AVM, doctors are telling Patterson that he should be able to rejoin the team within three to four days. Via John Clayton...
Patterson is already out of the hospital and, according to his agent, is "scheduled to see a neurologist in Philadelphia in the next day or so. We anticipate that he will be cleared to resume normal team activities within a few days." Patterson's agent is disputing the AVM prognosis.
The Eagles would love to have Patterson back healthy and ready to play. He started 14 games for the team last year, accruing 37 tackles and 2 sacks. He started all 16 games for the team in 2008 and 2009 at DT.
