As the months roll on and the draft talk starts to dry up, our daily links will begin to feature general football-related links. If you have something good, toss it in the comments
Duron Carter has left the Ohio State program and transfered to Alabama. Carter was a highly touted prospect that just didn't fit in at Ohio State. He is hoping that all his eligibility issues are cleared up so he could contribute this season for the Crimson Tide.
Mikel Leshoure suffered a season ending injury so the Lions are now scrambling for some running back depth. Leshoure was expected to get a ton of carries this season as the complementary power back to Jahvid Best. They made an offer to Ricky Williams but he signed in Baltimore. It appears that Jerome Harrison is next on their list.
Matt Bowen of the National Football Post recently visited Bears camp and came away impressed. Bowen was particularly impressed with Devin Hester who seems primed for a breakout season.
