MLB Network Gets a Lot Better Next Week

The only reason I was on ESPNews every Tuesday for three or four years was Brian Kenny, who personally requested my presence and then stuck with me for a long time, even though I wasn't good at it. So if he wants to be on MLB Network starting next Monday, I'm thrilled for him.

"Baseball, with its tradition and history, has always been my passion," said Kenny. "I'm so excited to follow baseball all year long and work with the excellent team on MLB Network. I also look forward to helping to bring a level of analysis that baseball fans now demand."

Still no word on whether firing Mitch Williams is a condition of hiring Brian Kenny.
