Unless he really sucks in his next few starts, Justin Verlander's going to be the unanimous choice in the American League. You know a pitcher's in good shape when usually reasonable people start talking about the MVP Award.↵
In the National League, the Cy Young is completely up in the air. Ian Kennedy ran his record to 18-4 against the Giants. Clayton Kershaw's 17-5 and leads the league with 222 strikeouts. And with yesterday's shutout, Cliff Lee actually has a lower ERA -- by just the thinnest of whiskers -- than Roy Halladay.
Halladay still leads the world in strikeout-to-walk ratio, but that alone won't be enough. This one's going to be interesting, sports fans.↵
