MLB TV Schedule, 9/9: Phillies/Brewers, Red Sox/Rays

There aren't a lot of pennant race games this weekend, largely because there aren't a lot of pennant races. Nevertheless, we persevere. All times Eastern.

7 p.m., NESN, SUN Sports: Red Sox at Rays. Tampa Bay trails Boston by 7.5 games in the wild card race. The two teams have seven games remaining against each other beginning tonight. The Rays would pretty much have to win all of them, and get some help, to still have a chance. But it's there.

7 p.m., FSN North, FSN Detroit: Twins at Tigers. While the Indians and White Sox knock each other out of the AL Central race this weekend, the Tigers could put the race just about to bed by sweeping the Twins.

8 p.m., MLB Network, CSN Philadelphia, FSN Wisconsin: Phillies at Brewers. The Phillies won the first of the four-game series Thursday night. Could this be a playoff preview? Some MLBN viewers will see Braves/Cardinals.

10 p.m., YES Network, FSN West: Yankees at Angels. The Angels have to win. The Yankees... well, kind of but not really. Something's gotta give.
