VIDEO: Charles Barkley Goes After NCAA Tournament Selection Committee

In theory, this seemed like a good idea. Following the Selection Sunday show on CBS, the coverage shifted to truTV for a first-ever Hardcore Brackets show. The CBS studio crew and analysts had access to the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee, and were able to get an insight into how the 2012 field was selected.

Seems simple, right? It was, until Charles Barkley got a bit angry and pointed with his questions. Barkley was correct in asking the tough questions, but things got a wee bit awkward in a hurry as he and Jeff Hathaway went toe-to-toe.

But he was just getting started. Later in the interview, Barkley again went after the committee members, this time leading to an awkward pause and some confusion.

No matter what you think of Barkley's opinion, this was just good television. Someone needed to ask the committee the questions Barkley brought up, and who better to do it than him?
