Thursday's slate of games rolls right along as the Round of 64 continues in the 2012 NCAA Tournament. The fourth game of the day has the No. 14 seed BYU Cougars going up against the No. 3 seed Marquette Golden Eagles. BYU is hoping to carry over the momentum of their historic comeback win over the Iona Gaels in the First Four, but thus far are facing a significantly tougher opponent in Marquette. At halftime, Marquette is on top by a score of 49-34
The Cougars fell behind by a big deficit early on. They regrouped toward the end of the first half, but are still looking overmatched by Marquette. They show no signs of giving up, however, going on an 8-0 run to cut the difference from over 20 points to a slightly-more-manageable 15.
